Sevillanas (Spanish pronunciation: [seβiˈʝanas]) are a very popular Spanish flamenco-type music and dance of the south of Spain. They consist of four different parts and can be heard and danced in parties and festivals all over Spain. They are danced by couples of all ages and sexes during celebrations often by whole families and towns. Sevillana choreography is not difficult to learn and knowing it is very useful, since it is a festival dance, and mostly, a lot of FUN!

Course description

A whole day (with breaks for a delicious Ibérico products lunch and afternoon snacks) of fun dance classes at Las Lagartosas, where you will learn the basics of this typical Spanish dance surrounded by our spectacular scenery (we can adapt the timings to your schedule). 

Price

€150 person for groups of 6 to 12 people (please enquire prices for smaller or larger groups as well as adding extra activities)

Includes:

• Sevillanas course
• Lunch and generous afternoon snacks

Does not include:

• Outfit or outfit accessories
• Travel

• Students will have the opportunity to buy all the accessories of the outfit if they wish: earrings, hair combs, necklaces, etc. 
• We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes (and be ready to have a lot of FUN!)

Llegar a Andalucía y bailar sevillanas es una misma cosa. ¿Quiéres aprender a bailar y conocer un lugar singular? Anímate, no importa de donde vengas: Barcelona, París, Londres, New York, México, Perú...

En Las Lagartosas siempre apostamos por la cultura, y cultura es todo nuestro folklore (folclore).

Cuando vengas a Las Lagartosas tendrás la oportunidad de iniciarte en el baile de las Sevillanas, o perfeccionarlo si ya lo conoces. Además te sorprenderemos con detalles relacionados: ¿Qué significa? ¿Cómo vestirme? ¿Cómo mirar?
